9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, By working on robotics projects, students are able |

10 | 11 | | to further their knowledge across the fields of science, |

11 | 12 | | technology, engineering, and math and also enhance such useful |

12 | 13 | | skills as critical thinking, imagination, and collaboration; and |

13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, After putting in thousands of hours of practice and |

14 | 15 | | building time, the Gigabots faced off against other top squads from |

15 | 16 | | across the country for the CREATE event in Council Bluffs, Iowa; |

16 | 17 | | following the qualification rounds, where Gigabots team A placed |

17 | 18 | | first and team C placed second, teams A, E, and D formed an alliance |

18 | 19 | | and moved on to the elimination stage, where the Greenville |

19 | 20 | | students triumphed over more than 60 other teams to be crowned the |

21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Gigabots team A, which also received the Excellence |

22 | 23 | | Award and the Robot Skills Winner award, featured Jordan Frimpter, |

24 | 25 | | E was composed of Dallas Davies, Nick Stromberg, Kian Smith, Heaven |
