| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Victoria Bejarano of Bedford has ably served her |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Throughout her tenure in the Arlington office, which |

| 9 | 10 | | spanned from September 2013 to February 2015, Ms. Bejarano provided |

| 10 | 11 | | vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; |

| 11 | 12 | | in addition to learning more about the legislative process and the |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, she has gained |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | valuable experience in the field of public service; and |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, While serving as an intern in the district office of |

| 15 | 16 | | Representative Turner, Ms. Bejarano earned her bachelor's degree |

| 16 | 17 | | in sociology from The University of Texas at Arlington in December |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | 2014; she also volunteered for two years at the Stewpot of Dallas |

| 18 | 19 | | during that time, and she has been a member of the Sociology Student |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | Association since February 2013; and |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, This noteworthy Texan has performed her duties as a |

| 21 | 22 | | district intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, |

| 24 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |

| 25 | 26 | | Legislature hereby commend Victoria Bejarano for her service as an |
