H.R. No. 361
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Victoria Bejarano of Bedford has ably served her
fellow Texans as an intern in the district office of State
Representative Chris Turner; and
WHEREAS, Throughout her tenure in the Arlington office, which
spanned from September 2013 to February 2015, Ms. Bejarano provided
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks;
in addition to learning more about the legislative process and the
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, she has gained
valuable experience in the field of public service; and
WHEREAS, While serving as an intern in the district office of
Representative Turner, Ms. Bejarano earned her bachelor's degree
in sociology from The University of Texas at Arlington in December
2014; she also volunteered for two years at the Stewpot of Dallas
during that time, and she has been a member of the Sociology Student
Association since February 2013; and
WHEREAS, This noteworthy Texan has performed her duties as a
district intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed
deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Victoria Bejarano for her service as an
intern in the district office of State Representative Chris Turner
and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all
her endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Bejarano as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
