5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The loved ones of Jose Santos Jr. of Brownsville |

6 | 7 | | were greatly saddened by his passing on December 29, 2014, at the |

8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Born to Jose and Tomasa Santos, Jose Santos Jr. was |

9 | 10 | | one of 10 brothers and sisters; he married Alejandra Santos, and the |
---|
10 | 11 | | couple shared a rewarding union until her passing; and |
---|
11 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Through the years, this devoted patriarch served as |
---|
12 | 13 | | a source of affection and inspiration to his family, which included |
---|
13 | 14 | | three children, Lionel, Juan Jose, and Lydia; and |
---|
14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Jose Santos enjoyed a life that was rich in the |

15 | 16 | | intangibles that matter most, and he is deeply missed by all those |

16 | 17 | | who held him dear; now, therefore, be it |

17 | 18 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |

18 | 19 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Jose Santos Jr. and |

19 | 20 | | extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his sons, |

20 | 21 | | Lionel Santos and Juan Jose Santos; to his daughter, Lydia |

21 | 22 | | Santos-Carlock; to his brothers, Raul, Tomas, Manuel, and Samuel |
