45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, The loved ones of Jose Santos Jr. of Brownsville
67 were greatly saddened by his passing on December 29, 2014, at the
78 age of 77; and
89 WHEREAS, Born to Jose and Tomasa Santos, Jose Santos Jr. was
910 one of 10 brothers and sisters; he married Alejandra Santos, and the
1011 couple shared a rewarding union until her passing; and
1112 WHEREAS, Through the years, this devoted patriarch served as
1213 a source of affection and inspiration to his family, which included
1314 three children, Lionel, Juan Jose, and Lydia; and
1415 WHEREAS, Jose Santos enjoyed a life that was rich in the
1516 intangibles that matter most, and he is deeply missed by all those
1617 who held him dear; now, therefore, be it
1718 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
1819 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Jose Santos Jr. and
1920 extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his sons,
2021 Lionel Santos and Juan Jose Santos; to his daughter, Lydia
2122 Santos-Carlock; to his brothers, Raul, Tomas, Manuel, and Samuel
2223 Santos; to his sister, Ana S. Herrera; and to his other relatives
2324 and many friends; and, be it further
2425 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2526 prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
2627 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Jose Santos
2728 Jr.
