 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, The loved ones of Jose Santos Jr. of Brownsville
 were greatly saddened by his passing on December 29, 2014, at the
 age of 77; and
 WHEREAS, Born to Jose and Tomasa Santos, Jose Santos Jr. was
 one of 10 brothers and sisters; he married Alejandra Santos, and the
 couple shared a rewarding union until her passing; and
 WHEREAS, Through the years, this devoted patriarch served as
 a source of affection and inspiration to his family, which included
 three children, Lionel, Juan Jose, and Lydia; and
 WHEREAS, Jose Santos enjoyed a life that was rich in the
 intangibles that matter most, and he is deeply missed by all those
 who held him dear; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Jose Santos Jr. and
 extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his sons,
 Lionel Santos and Juan Jose Santos; to his daughter, Lydia
 Santos-Carlock; to his brothers, Raul, Tomas, Manuel, and Samuel
 Santos; to his sister, Ana S. Herrera; and to his other relatives
 and many friends; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Jose Santos
 Jr.
