| 11 | 11 | SECTION 1. Subchapter F, Chapter 223, Transportation Code, | |
| 12 | 12 | is amended by adding Section 223.251 to read as follows: | |
| 13 | 13 | Sec. 223.251. INTERSTATE HIGHWAY 635 EAST PROJECT. The | |
| 14 | 14 | department may enter into a design-build contract under Section | |
| 15 | 15 | 223.242 for the Interstate Highway 635 East project from U.S. | |
| 16 | 16 | Highway 75 to Interstate Highway 30 if the department does not | |
| 17 | 17 | operate any portion of the project as a toll project. | |
| 18 | 18 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect August 31, 2015. |
