7	5		relating to the regulation of amusement redemption machine game
8	6		rooms in certain counties.
9	7		BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
10	8		SECTION 1. Section 234.132, Local Government Code, as added
11	9		by Chapter 1284 (H.B. 2123), Acts of the 83rd Legislature, Regular
12	10		Session, 2013, is amended to read as follows:
13	11		Sec. 234.132. APPLICABILITY. This subchapter applies only
14	12		to:
15	13		(1) a county that has [with] a population of less than
16	14		25,000, [that] is adjacent to the Gulf of Mexico, and is within 50
17	15		miles of an international border;
18	16		(2) a county that has a population of four million or
19	17		more; and
20	18		(3) a county that has a population of 550,000 or more
21	19		and is adjacent to a county described by Subdivision (2).
22	20		SECTION 2. Subchapter E, Chapter 234, Local Government
23	21		Code, as added by Chapter 1377 (H.B. 1127), Acts of the 83rd
24	22		Legislature, Regular Session, 2013, is repealed.
25	23		SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015.
