7	5		relating to Internet broadcasts of open meetings held by the policy
8	6		board of certain metropolitan planning organizations.
9	7		BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
10	8		SECTION 1. Subchapter D, Chapter 472, Transportation Code,
11	9		is amended by adding Section 472.036 to read as follows:
12	10		Sec. 472.036. INTERNET BROADCAST AND ARCHIVE OF OPEN
13	11		MEETINGS. In a manner that complies with Section 551.128(c),
14	12		Government Code, a metropolitan planning organization that serves
15	13		one or more counties with a population of 350,000 or more shall
16	14		broadcast over the Internet live video and audio of each open
17	15		meeting held by the policy board. Subsequently, the organization
18	16		shall make available through the organization's Internet website
19	17		archived video and audio for each meeting for which live video and
20	18		audio was provided under this section.
21	19		SECTION 2. The changes in law made by this Act apply only to
22	20		an open meeting held on or after the effective date of this Act.
23	21		SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015.
