| 9 | 9 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Section 1027.051(c), Special District Local Laws | |
| 11 | 11 | Code, is amended to read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | (c) An election shall be held on the uniform election date | |
| 13 | 13 | in November [May] of each year to elect the appropriate number of | |
| 14 | 14 | directors. | |
| 15 | 15 | SECTION 2. The board of directors of the Fisher County | |
| 16 | 16 | Hospital District shall adjust the terms of office of directors to | |
| 17 | 17 | conform to the change in the election date made by this Act. | |
| 18 | 18 | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives | |
| 19 | 19 | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as | |
| 20 | 20 | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this | |
| 21 | 21 | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this | |
| 22 | 22 | Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
