| 9 | 9 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 10 | 10 | | SECTION 1. Subchapter H, Chapter 411, Government Code, is |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | amended by adding Section 411.1953 to read as follows: |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | Sec. 411.1953. REDUCTION OF FEES FOR COUNTY JAILERS. |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | Notwithstanding any other provision of this subchapter, an |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | applicant who is a county jailer as defined by Section 1701.001, |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Occupations Code, shall pay a fee of $25 for the issuance of an |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | original or renewed license under this subchapter. |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | SECTION 2. The change in law made by this Act applies only |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | to a license issued or renewed on or after the effective date of |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | this Act. |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
