| 9 | 7 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 10 | 8 | | SECTION 1. Section 504.315, Transportation Code, is amended |
|---|
| 11 | 9 | | by adding Subsections (j), (k), (l), and (m) to read as follows: |
|---|
| 12 | 10 | | (j) The department shall issue specialty license plates for |
|---|
| 13 | 11 | | recipients of the Soldier's Medal. License plates issued under |
|---|
| 14 | 12 | | this subsection must include the Soldier's Medal emblem and must |
|---|
| 15 | 13 | | include the words "Soldier's Medal" at the bottom of each plate. |
|---|
| 16 | 14 | | (k) The department shall issue specialty license plates for |
|---|
| 17 | 15 | | recipients of the Navy and Marine Corps Medal. License plates |
|---|
| 18 | 16 | | issued under this subsection must include the Navy and Marine Corps |
|---|
| 19 | 17 | | Medal emblem and must include the words "Navy and Marine Corps |
|---|
| 20 | 18 | | Medal" at the bottom of each plate. |
|---|
| 21 | 19 | | (l) The department shall issue specialty license plates for |
|---|
| 22 | 20 | | recipients of the Coast Guard Medal. License plates issued under |
|---|
| 23 | 21 | | this subsection must include the Coast Guard Medal emblem and must |
|---|
| 24 | 22 | | include the words "Coast Guard Medal" at the bottom of each plate. |

| 25 | 23 | | (m) The department shall issue specialty license plates for |
|---|
| 26 | 24 | | recipients of the Airman's Medal. License plates issued under this |
|---|
| 27 | 25 | | subsection must include the Airman's Medal emblem and must include |
|---|
| 28 | 26 | | the words "Airman's Medal" at the bottom of each plate. |

| 29 | 27 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
