| 7 | 7 | | relating to the marketing and advertising of the veterans' |

| 8 | 8 | | assistance lottery game. |

| 9 | 9 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 10 | 10 | | SECTION 1. Section 466.027, Government Code, is amended by |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | adding Subsections (d-1) and (f) and amending Subsection (e) to |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | read as follows: |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | (d-1) The commission shall produce and place printed |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | point-of-sale advertising materials promoting the lottery game |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | operated under this section at each licensed location that provides |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | appropriate, lottery-dedicated space to display the materials. |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | (e) The commission shall include on the commission's |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Internet website a dedicated page that: |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | (1) features the game operated under this section; |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | (2) provides information on the benefits provided to |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | veterans through funding from the game; and |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | (3) is accessible by a prominent link on the main page |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | of the commission's website. |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | (f) No organization that would otherwise be eligible to |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | receive funds from the state lottery account attributable to any |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | lottery game authorized by this section may receive any such funds |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | if it conducts illegal gambling or the illegal operation of |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | gambling devices as defined by Chapter 47, Penal Code, or allows |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | illegal gambling or the illegal operation of gambling devices to be |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | conducted on its property or in its facilities. |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
