The bill would amend the Government Code to provide that, upon request of the State Judicial Conduct Commission (SCJC), a court reporter shall provide to the commission at no cost a backup audio recording of a court proceeding if one has been made. The Office of Court Administration indicates no significant fiscal implication to the court system is anticipated. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
