44 SENATE RESOLUTION
55 BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th
66 Legislature, Regular Session, 2015, That Senate Rule 12.03 be
77 suspended in part as provided by Senate Rule 12.08 to enable the
88 conference committee appointed to resolve the differences on
99 Senate Joint Resolution 5 (proposing a constitutional amendment
1010 dedicating a portion of the revenue derived from the state sales
1111 and use tax and the tax imposed on the sale, use, or rental of a
1212 motor vehicle to the state highway fund) to consider and take
1313 action on the following matter:
1414 Senate Rule 12.03(1) is suspended to permit the committee
1515 to change text not in disagreement in proposed SECTION 3 of the
1616 resolution to read as follows:
1717 This proposed constitutional amendment shall be submitted to the
1818 voters at an election to be held November 3, 2015.
1919 Explanation: This change is necessary to provide that the
2020 election on the proposed constitutional amendment will be held on
2121 November 3, 2015.
