| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | commemorates the life of Pedro Saucedo, who died on May 10, 2015, |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | at the age of 77; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Pete Saucedo was born on November 18, 1937, in |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | Hebbronville, to Efigenia and Sotero Saucedo; he grew up in |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | Kingsville, where he enjoyed playing football during his years in |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | school; he later served his country as a member of the National |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | Guard; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, He was an exemplary gentleman and a generous, |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | kindhearted person who was respected for his accomplishments; he |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | was devoted to his wife, Amparo Dalila Saucedo, who preceded him |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | in death, and to his four children, Marcus Antony Saucedo, Noe |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | Javier Saucedo, Daniel Eduardo Saucedo, and Sharon Rebekah |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Casas, and his four grandchildren, Jesse James Casas, Sonny |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | Casas, Andrea Saucedo, and Aria Saucedo; and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, He was a deeply devout Christian, and his faith |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | was a source of strength for him and for family members, |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | particularly during his later years; and |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | WHEREAS, Pete Saucedo gave unselfishly of his time to |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | others and was beloved by many, and he will long be remembered |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | with affection and appreciation by all who were privileged to |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | share in his life; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | family of Pedro Saucedo; and, be it further |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |

| 31 | 31 | | his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas |

| 32 | 32 | | Senate and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in |
