SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 279
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize the Elizabeth Christian Public Relations firm, which
is celebrating its 20th year as a successful business; and
WHEREAS, Elizabeth Christian established her namesake
public relations firm in 1995, and the company has since grown
to become one of the largest public relations firms in Central
Texas; and
WHEREAS, The agency manages public relations projects for
causes and organizations in the Austin area by using a wide array of
communication tools, including media outreach, public meetings and
events, coalition development, and polling; last year, the firm
expanded to include video and digital services; and
WHEREAS, In celebration of this year's milestone, the
agency unveiled a special logo that notes its 20-year history of
growth from a single employee to a company of exceptionally
talented public relations professionals; the agency has earned
numerous awards from the Texas Public Relations Association and
community organizations; and
WHEREAS, The success of businesses plays an important role
in the progress of our state, and it is truly fitting that the
award-winning professionals at Elizabeth Christian Public
Relations be recognized for their many outstanding achievements;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th
Legislature, hereby congratulate the executives and staff of
Elizabeth Christian Public Relations on the occasion of the
agency's 20th anniversary and extend to all sincere best wishes
for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
this agency as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
