| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, Many years ago, Robert and Ramona Williams made a |

| 3 | 3 | | lifetime commitment to each other, and their mutual trust has |

| 4 | 4 | | been amply rewarded as they recently rejoiced in their 50th |

| 5 | 5 | | wedding anniversary; and |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Williams were married on February 11, |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | 1965, in Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Barstow, California; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, The world has changed considerably during the |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | years of their marriage, yet Robert and Ramona have cherished the |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | values that helped inspire their bond long ago; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Over the years, they have grown stronger in their |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | love and devotion as together they have experienced the joys and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | sorrows of everyday living; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Williams have been blessed with a |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | wonderful family; their three children and five grandchildren |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | have been a source of much pride and joy; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, In celebration of this special anniversary, |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Robert and Ramona are gathering with family and friends at a |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | reunion that is taking place in May; the loving relationship they |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | share is truly an inspiration to all who know them; now, |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | therefore, be it |

| 22 | 22 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | Legislature, hereby extend congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Williams |

| 24 | 24 | | on their 50th wedding anniversary; and, be it further |

| 25 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
