SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 349
WHEREAS, Many years ago, Robert and Ramona Williams made a
lifetime commitment to each other, and their mutual trust has
been amply rewarded as they recently rejoiced in their 50th
wedding anniversary; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Williams were married on February 11,
1965, in Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Barstow, California; and
WHEREAS, The world has changed considerably during the
years of their marriage, yet Robert and Ramona have cherished the
values that helped inspire their bond long ago; and
WHEREAS, Over the years, they have grown stronger in their
love and devotion as together they have experienced the joys and
sorrows of everyday living; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Williams have been blessed with a
wonderful family; their three children and five grandchildren
have been a source of much pride and joy; and
WHEREAS, In celebration of this special anniversary,
Robert and Ramona are gathering with family and friends at a
reunion that is taking place in May; the loving relationship they
share is truly an inspiration to all who know them; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th
Legislature, hereby extend congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Williams
on their 50th wedding anniversary; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
them as a memento of this special day.
