1	1	SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 410
2	2	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
3	3	join citizens from across the state in celebrating Firefighters
4	4	and Paramedics Day at the State Capitol on March 31, 2015; and
5	5	WHEREAS, Firefighters and paramedics are stewards of Texas
6	6	communities, and they work courageously as first responders to
7	7	protect and assist their fellow citizens in times of crisis; and
8	8	WHEREAS, These dedicated public servants have saved
9	9	thousands of lives and prevented innumerable injuries in the face
10	10	of great hazards and at the risk of their own safety; many have
11	11	made the ultimate sacrifice and perished in the line of duty; and
12	12	WHEREAS, Firefighters and paramedics in our state strive
13	13	to serve the public with courage, commitment, and compassion, and
14	14	they further serve their communities through charitable
15	15	activities and educational endeavors; they are indeed deserving
16	16	of recognition for their selfless work; now, therefore, be it
17	17	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th
18	18	Legislature, hereby commend firefighters and paramedics
19	19	throughout the state for their dedication and service and extend
20	20	best wishes to them for a memorable Firefighters and Paramedics
21	21	Day at the State Capitol; and, be it further
22	22	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared as a
23	23	memento of this special day.
