| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to welcome |

| 3 | 3 | | the members of the Cleburne Chamber of Commerce and the Cleburne |

| 4 | 4 | | Tuesday Forum who are visiting the Capitol on April 7, 2015; and |
|---|
| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, The Cleburne Chamber of Commerce was chartered on |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | February 17, 1919; at its first meeting, the chamber's 84 members |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | pledged to give back to the community in which they worked and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | raised their families; since its inception, the organization has |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | played an important role in promoting the area's industrial and |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | agricultural efforts and has been an outspoken advocate for the |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | Chisholm Trail Highway 121 project; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, The Cleburne Tuesday Forum is a nonprofit |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | association that provides a platform for public discussion of the |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | issues affecting Johnson County; this outstanding 40-year-old |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | organization is composed of business and professional men and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | women who meet each month to share information and exchange |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | points of view; and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Through their vision and leadership, the members |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | of these exceptional organizations have played an important role |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | in Cleburne's growth and vitality, and through their initiatives |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | and hard work, they have helped to create a better-informed and |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | more engaged citizenry; and |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | WHEREAS, The forward-thinking men and women of these |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | organizations are working diligently to enhance their community, |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | and due to their enduring efforts, Cleburne faces a bright and |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | impressive future; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | Legislature, hereby commend the members of the Cleburne Chamber |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | of Commerce and the Cleburne Tuesday Forum on their many |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | contributions to their community and extend to them best wishes |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | for a productive visit to the Capitol; and, be it further |

| 32 | 32 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
