44 Cesario P. Leal
55 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins the
66 citizens of San Pedro in mourning the loss of Cesario P. "Pete"
77 Leal, who died October 18, 2013, at the age of 68; and
88 WHEREAS, Pete Leal was an exemplary citizen who was widely
99 respected and admired in his community for his achievements and
1010 for his dedication to his family; and
1111 WHEREAS, Pete Leal was born in San Pedro to the late
1212 Francisca and Melquiades Leal, and he made the city his home
1313 throughout his life; and
1414 WHEREAS, Mr. Leal and his beloved wife of 52 years, Corina
1515 G. Leal, raised six daughters together, and they were blessed
1616 with 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and
1717 WHEREAS, A man of courage, strength, and compassion, he
1818 gave generously to others, and his wisdom, warmth, and valued
1919 counsel will not be forgotten by those who were privileged to
2020 share in his life; and
2121 WHEREAS, He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather,
2222 and he leaves behind memories that will be treasured forever by
2323 his family and countless friends; now, therefore, be it
2424 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th
2525 Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved
2626 family of Cesario P. Leal; and, be it further
2727 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
2828 his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas
2929 Senate and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in
3030 memory of Cesario P. Leal.
