                            SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 631
 In Memory
 of
 Encarnacion Manzano Cuellar Jr.
 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins the citizens
 of Brownsville in mourning the loss of Encarnacion Manzano
 Cuellar Jr., who died March 17, 2015, at the age of 76; and
 WHEREAS, Encarnacion M. Cuellar Jr. was a 1957 graduate of
 Brownsville High School who was respected throughout the
 community for his kindness and his many accomplishments; and
 WHEREAS, He attended Texas Southmost College, and he
 served his country with honor and distinction during the Berlin
 Crisis; and
 WHEREAS, Mr. Cuellar managed the Charro Drive-In Theatre from
 1966 until 1980, and he later owned and operated El Charro
 Restaurant for more than a decade; he also worked for Philip
 Morris, Incorporated, and Acosta, Incorporated, as a merchandising
 representative; and
 WHEREAS, A loving husband, father, and grandfather, he
 cherished his family above all things and guided them in
 accordance with his Christian faith; he was beloved by many, and
 he leaves behind memories that will long be cherished by all who
 were privileged to share in his life; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th
 Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved
 family of Encarnacion Manzano Cuellar Jr.; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
 his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas
 Senate and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in
 memory of Encarnacion Cuellar Jr.
