1	1	SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 664
2	2	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
3	3	recognize the Hillier Funeral Home, which is celebrating the
4	4	grand opening of its new facility at a ribbon-cutting ceremony on
5	5	May 6, 2015; and
6	6	WHEREAS, Hillier Funeral Home was established in 1918 by
7	7	Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Hillier; their son, C. Russell Hillier,
8	8	carried on the family business for many years; and
9	9	WHEREAS, For nearly a century, the staff at Hillier Funeral
10	10	Home have provided conscientious, professional service to
11	11	families in times of need; in 1998, they began serving clients at
12	12	their newly opened state-of-the-art facility in Bryan, and they
13	13	are now celebrating the opening of an additional facility in
14	14	College Station; and
15	15	WHEREAS, Hillier Funeral Home has maintained a longstanding
16	16	reputation for excellence, and the professional staff at the new
17	17	facility will carry on a proud tradition of dependable service
18	18	and a friendly atmosphere; now, therefore, be it
19	19	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th
20	20	Legislature, hereby commend Hillier Funeral Home on its history
21	21	of exemplary service in the community and extend congratulations
22	22	to all on the opening of the new facility in College Station; and,
23	23	be it further
24	24	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for the
25	25	funeral home as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
