                            SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 664
 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
 recognize the Hillier Funeral Home, which is celebrating the
 grand opening of its new facility at a ribbon-cutting ceremony on
 May 6, 2015; and
 WHEREAS, Hillier Funeral Home was established in 1918 by
 Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Hillier; their son, C. Russell Hillier,
 carried on the family business for many years; and
 WHEREAS, For nearly a century, the staff at Hillier Funeral
 Home have provided conscientious, professional service to
 families in times of need; in 1998, they began serving clients at
 their newly opened state-of-the-art facility in Bryan, and they
 are now celebrating the opening of an additional facility in
 College Station; and
 WHEREAS, Hillier Funeral Home has maintained a longstanding
 reputation for excellence, and the professional staff at the new
 facility will carry on a proud tradition of dependable service
 and a friendly atmosphere; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th
 Legislature, hereby commend Hillier Funeral Home on its history
 of exemplary service in the community and extend congratulations
 to all on the opening of the new facility in College Station; and,
 be it further
 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for the
 funeral home as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
