| 4 | 4 | | WHEREAS, This highly anticipated event is being held June |

| 5 | 5 | | 12 and 13, 2015, at the Lone Star Convention Center in Conroe; it |

| 6 | 6 | | is sponsored by the Jesus is Bigger Than Cancer Foundation and |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | sanctioned by the Texas Gulf Coast BBQ Cooker's Association; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Proceeds from the cook-off will go to support |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | research in the fight against childhood cancer; and |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Texans are noted for their love of barbecue, and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | the Q'ing to Cure Childhood Cancer BBQ Cook-off is sure to |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | provide cuisine to satisfy the most discriminating of palates; |

| 13 | 13 | | now, therefore, be it |

| 14 | 14 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th |

| 15 | 15 | | Legislature, hereby commend the sponsors and organizers of the |

| 16 | 16 | | Q'ing to Cure Childhood Cancer BBQ Cook-off on their hard work |

| 17 | 17 | | and dedication and extend to them best wishes for a successful |
