1	1	SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 794
2	2	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
3	3	recognize Mark Lockerman, who is retiring as director of the
4	4	State Fire Marshal's Office on May 31, 2015, after 23 years of
5	5	exemplary service; and
6	6	WHEREAS, Mr. Lockerman joined the State Fire Marshal's
7	7	Office as a licensing investigator at the Dallas/Fort Worth
8	8	office in May of 1992, and he was later promoted to program
9	9	administrator; and
10	10	WHEREAS, He continued rising through the ranks and joined
11	11	Fire Arson Investigations to administer the canine team; he was
12	12	later promoted to director of Fire Arson Investigations and
13	13	Safety Inspections; and
14	14	WHEREAS, As director of the State Fire Marshal's Office,
15	15	Mark Lockerman has handled his far-reaching responsibilities
16	16	with exceptional efficiency and dedication; his expertise has
17	17	helped promote broad-scale agency success, and his presence with
18	18	the fire marshal's office will be greatly missed; now, therefore,
19	19	be it
20	20	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th
21	21	Legislature, hereby commend Mark Lockerman on his 23 years of
22	22	outstanding service with the State Fire Marshal's Office and
23	23	extend to him best wishes for the future; and, be it further
24	24	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
25	25	him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
