| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Friends and family are mourning the loss of Parker |

| 6 | 6 | | Riley Weber of Lubbock, whose promising life was tragically cut |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | short on May 9, 2015, at the age of 17; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Parker was born in Kansas City, Kansas, on |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | September 15, 1997, to William and Heather (Chakri) Weber; and |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Parker became a Texan in 1999 when he moved to |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | Lubbock, where he attended school and became part of the |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | community; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Parker made the lives of those around him much |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | happier through his loving, kind, and considerate demeanor; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Parker demonstrated this love through his |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | compassion for his family and through caring for vulnerable |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | animals he encountered in his neighborhood and community; and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Texas is a better place for his time spent here, |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | although that time was far too brief; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | Legislature, hereby pay tribute to the life of Parker Riley Weber |

| 22 | 22 | | and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | mother, Heather Weber; to his father, William Weber; to his |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | brother, Michael Weber; to his grandparents, Michael and Ping |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | Custy and Pat and Jim Doggett; to his aunts, Elizabeth Custy, |

| 26 | 26 | | Sara Rush, and Aranya Suyabodha; to his uncles, BumBum Anuthin |
