                            SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 957
 In Memory
 of
 Timothy Julio Dovel
 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and
 commemorates the life of Timothy Julio Dovel, who died March 11,
 2014, at the age of 18; and
 WHEREAS, Timothy Dovel was born January 23, 1996, in
 Lancaster, Texas, to Timothy and Ana Lucia Dovel; he grew up in
 Texas and was attending Azle High School when his family moved to
 Ogallala, Nebraska; and
 WHEREAS, He attended Ogallala High School for his junior
 year before returning to Azle so that he could graduate with his
 longtime classmates in Texas; he became very close to the Jimenez
 family who hosted his stay in Azle; and
 WHEREAS, Timothy had many talents and interests and
 enjoyed playing video games and listening to music with his
 friends; he particularly enjoyed equipping his pickup with the
 latest in audio equipment; and
 WHEREAS, He was a kind and respectful young man who gave
 unselfishly to others, and his ready smile, his generous nature,
 and his enthusiasm for living each day to the fullest will not be
 forgotten by those who were privileged to share in his life; and
 WHEREAS, He was a devoted son, brother, and grandson, and
 he leaves behind memories that will be cherished forever by his
 family and many friends; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th
 Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved
 family of Timothy Julio Dovel; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
 his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas
 Senate and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in
 memory of Timothy Julio Dovel.
