| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The birth of a baby is one of the most treasured |

| 4 | 4 | | WHEREAS, January 13, 2012, is a day that will long be |

| 5 | 5 | | remembered by Jorge and Monica Joy Partida, for on that day their |

| 6 | 6 | | daughter Penelope Joy Partida was born; and |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | WHEREAS, The beautiful baby girl was born at Saint David's |

| 8 | 8 | | Hospital in Austin; she weighed five pounds 10 ounces, and her |

| 9 | 9 | | safe arrival fulfilled her parents' dearest wish; and |

| 10 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Jorge and Monica, along with Penelope's grandparents, |

| 11 | 11 | | Santa Robles Morales and Jorge and Christina Partida, are filled with |

| 12 | 12 | | joy over this long-awaited infant, who has already found a permanent |

| 13 | 13 | | place in their hearts; and |

| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, It is indeed appropriate that the Texas Senate |

| 15 | 15 | | welcome this new little Texan as a treasured citizen of the Lone |

| 16 | 16 | | Star State; now, therefore, be it |

| 17 | 17 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th |

| 18 | 18 | | Legislature, hereby congratulate Jorge and Monica Joy Partida on |
