SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 984
WHEREAS, The birth of a baby is one of life's most treasured
events, and July 17, 2014, will long be remembered by Jorge and
Monica Joy Partida, for on that day their son Patrick Gunnar
Miles Partida was born; and
WHEREAS, The beautiful baby boy weighed seven pounds nine
ounces when he was born at Saint David's Hospital in Austin, and
his safe arrival was the fulfillment of his parents' dearest
wish; and
WHEREAS, The blessed event brought great happiness to
Patrick's family, and he has been heartily welcomed by his
sister, Penelope, and his grandparents, Santa Robles Morales and
Jorge and Christina Partida; and
WHEREAS, It is indeed appropriate that the Texas Senate
honor this new little Texan as a treasured citizen of the Lone
Star State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th
Legislature, hereby extend congratulations to Jorge and Monica Joy
Partida on the birth of their precious child and best wishes for the
future to Patrick Gunnar Miles Partida; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
the Partida family as a memento of this special day.
