The bill would amend the Transportation Code to authorize the Department of Public Safety to make available, in a publicly accessible area of a driver's license office, informational materials and videos on driving with autism that were developed by an appropriate entity, as determined by the Department of Public Safety. It is assumed any costs associated with implementing this bill could be absorbed within existing resources. The bill would take effect September 1, 2017.
