| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Section 402.154, Occupations Code, is amended by | |
| 11 | 11 | adding Subsection (h-1) to read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | (h-1) Notwithstanding Subsection (h), the department on | |
| 13 | 13 | request shall provide a copy of a license holder's records obtained | |
| 14 | 14 | by the department as described by Subsection (h) to a person who is | |
| 15 | 15 | or was a client of the license holder if the records pertain to that | |
| 16 | 16 | person and the person is or was involved in a complaint against the | |
| 17 | 17 | license holder. | |
| 18 | 18 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017. |
