A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to certain practice locations for licensed specialists in
school psychology.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 501.260, Occupations Code, is amended by
adding Subsection (d) to read as follows:
(d) A person who is licensed under this section may provide
school psychological services under the supervision of a
psychologist licensed under Section 501.252 in a clinical setting.
For purposes of this subsection, a clinical setting is not required
to be a public school.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017.
