| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Memories of a life well lived may help to comfort |

| 6 | 7 | | those saddened by the death of David Alan Noble of Houston on |

| 7 | 8 | | February 28, 2017, at the age of 52; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, The son of Jimmie and Jeanette Noble, David Noble |
|---|
| 9 | 10 | | was born on February 12, 1965, and grew up with the companionship of |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | three brothers, Jimmie, Jeff, and Jack; he graduated from Liberty |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | High School in 1983 and subsequently answered his nation's call to |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | duty by joining the U.S. Army; he went on to serve for six years in |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | the army's elite 101st Airborne Division; and |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, After returning to civilian life, Mr. Noble worked |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | as a quality control manager at a number of companies, and his |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | career took him across the globe; he was most recently employed at |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | HSG Constructors in Dickinson; in his leisure hours, he enjoyed |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | rooting for the Dallas Cowboys and spending time outdoors hunting, |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | fishing, and barbecuing; admired for his sense of humor, he earned a |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | reputation for his pranks and his infectious laugh; and |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Noble shared a rewarding marriage of 21 years |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | with the love of his life, Yolanda, and the couple were blessed with |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | four daughters, Kay'La Noble and her husband, Zachary, Julie Noble, |
|---|
| 24 | 25 | | Christina Davila, and Amber Torres and her husband, Romain, as well |
|---|
| 25 | 26 | | as eight grandchildren; and |
|---|
| 26 | 27 | | WHEREAS, Those fortunate enough to have known David Noble |
|---|
| 27 | 28 | | will never forget his warmth, his generous nature, and his zest for |
|---|
| 28 | 29 | | life, and he will forever hold a treasured place in their hearts; |

| 29 | 30 | | now, therefore, be it |

| 30 | 31 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |

| 31 | 32 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of David Alan Noble and |
