H.R. No. 1237 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, Memories of a life well lived may help to comfort those saddened by the death of David Alan Noble of Houston on February 28, 2017, at the age of 52; and WHEREAS, The son of Jimmie and Jeanette Noble, David Noble was born on February 12, 1965, and grew up with the companionship of three brothers, Jimmie, Jeff, and Jack; he graduated from Liberty High School in 1983 and subsequently answered his nation's call to duty by joining the U.S. Army; he went on to serve for six years in the army's elite 101st Airborne Division; and WHEREAS, After returning to civilian life, Mr. Noble worked as a quality control manager at a number of companies, and his career took him across the globe; he was most recently employed at HSG Constructors in Dickinson; in his leisure hours, he enjoyed rooting for the Dallas Cowboys and spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and barbecuing; admired for his sense of humor, he earned a reputation for his pranks and his infectious laugh; and WHEREAS, Mr. Noble shared a rewarding marriage of 21 years with the love of his life, Yolanda, and the couple were blessed with four daughters, Kay'La Noble and her husband, Zachary, Julie Noble, Christina Davila, and Amber Torres and her husband, Romain, as well as eight grandchildren; and WHEREAS, Those fortunate enough to have known David Noble will never forget his warmth, his generous nature, and his zest for life, and he will forever hold a treasured place in their hearts; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of David Alan Noble and extend heartfelt sympathy to his relatives and many friends; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of David Alan Noble.
