H.R. No. 1238
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Robert Beauchamp of the Sachse Police Department was
named the 2016 Employee of the Year by the City of Sachse; and
WHEREAS, Officer Beauchamp has provided exceptional service
to his fellow citizens throughout his tenure with the department;
in 2016, he was instrumental in developing and staffing four
SPD-sponsored summer camps that taught local youth lessons in
safety and citizenship while providing them with an opportunity to
play games, take field trips, and meet with first responders; the
program's success earned Officer Beauchamp Employee of the Quarter
honors from the department that fall; and
WHEREAS, In all facets of his job, this dedicated public
servant has demonstrated a strong work ethic and a commitment to
excellence, and he has garnered the lasting respect and admiration
of his peers and fellow citizens alike; and
WHEREAS, Robert Beauchamp has proved himself to be an
exemplary member of the law enforcement profession, and his efforts
have helped to make his community an even better place in which to
live and work; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Officer Robert Beauchamp on his
selection as the 2016 City of Sachse Employee of the Year and extend
to him sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Officer Beauchamp as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
