6 | 7 | | comfort the family and friends of Charles Ray Wilder Sr., who passed |

7 | 8 | | away on March 25, 2017, at the age of 61; and |

8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Charles Wilder was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on |

9 | 10 | | February 10, 1956, to Lillian Wilder and Luther Wingard; a graduate |

10 | 11 | | of Tipton Street High School in Kosciusko, Mississippi, he worked |
---|
11 | 12 | | as a brick mason, and in his leisure hours, he enjoyed dancing and |
---|
12 | 13 | | spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and barbecuing; and |
---|
13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Wilder shared a rewarding relationship with his |
---|
14 | 15 | | wife of 27 years, the former Beverly Terry, until her passing; |

15 | 16 | | fortunate enough to find love again, he married the former Mae |

16 | 17 | | Johnson on April 8, 2015; he took immense pride in his five |

17 | 18 | | children, Shauntel, Kevin, Charles, Harold, and John, and his three |

18 | 19 | | stepsons, Orlando, Damon, and the late Tyran Johnson, and his |

19 | 20 | | family eventually grew to include two additional generations; and |

20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, A devoted husband and father and a true friend to |

21 | 22 | | many, Charles Wilder treasured the richness that each day brought |
