| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The rank of Eagle Scout is an achievement shared by |

| 7 | 8 | | Kody Hermes of Lindsay heralds a future bright with opportunity and |

| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, This fine young Texan has mastered a number of |

| 10 | 11 | | important skills in his quest to become an Eagle Scout; he has |

| 11 | 12 | | earned 35 merit badges requiring expertise in such diverse areas as |

| 12 | 13 | | first aid, personal fitness, and environmental science, and he has |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | gained experience in leadership and teamwork while undertaking his |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | Eagle Scout project, which involved constructing a dog run at |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | Noah's Ark Animal Shelter in Gainesville; and |

| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, The son of Kurt and Amy Hermes, Mr. Hermes is |

| 17 | 18 | | currently a junior at Lindsay High School; he hopes to study |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | engineering in college; and |

| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, In fulfilling the rigorous requirements for |

| 20 | 21 | | attaining the Eagle Scout insignia, Kody Hermes has demonstrated an |

| 21 | 22 | | unwavering commitment to the Boy Scouts organization and its |

| 22 | 23 | | ideals, and the knowledge and confidence he has acquired along the |

| 23 | 24 | | way will indeed serve him well in the years to come; now, therefore, |
