| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, A solid education is vital for young people to |

| 10 | 11 | | who dedicate their careers to teaching make a positive difference |

| 11 | 12 | | in the lives of their students and in the greater community; and |

| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Now in her fourth year as an educator, Elizabeth |

| 13 | 14 | | Marley teaches seventh grade English language arts; she strives to |

| 14 | 15 | | broaden her students' horizons while helping them to improve their |

| 15 | 16 | | reading and writing skills; a graduate of Texas A&M |

| 16 | 17 | | University--Corpus Christi, she holds a bachelor's degree in |

| 18 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Elizabeth Marley exemplifies the passion, |

| 19 | 20 | | determination, and innovative spirit that are the hallmarks of our |

| 20 | 21 | | best teachers, and she has set a standard of excellence to which all |

| 21 | 22 | | in her profession may aspire; now, therefore, be it |
