| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Patrick Coleman has ably served his fellow Texans as |

| 6 | 7 | | an intern in the office of State Representative Dan Huberty during |

| 7 | 8 | | the 85th Legislative Session; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Coleman has provided |

| 9 | 10 | | vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | including answering phone calls and tracking correspondence with |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | constituents; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | field of public service, he has learned more about the legislative |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Coleman is a senior at the University of |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | Houston, where he is pursuing a degree in corporate communications |

| 16 | 17 | | with a minor in English; he has previously held internships in the |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | public relations and public affairs sectors and served as a youth |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | football coach for two seasons; and |

| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his |

| 20 | 21 | | duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is |

| 21 | 22 | | indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, |

| 23 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |

| 24 | 25 | | Legislature hereby commend Patrick Coleman for his service as a |
