H.R. No. 1515 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, Patrick Coleman has ably served his fellow Texans as an intern in the office of State Representative Dan Huberty during the 85th Legislative Session; and WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Coleman has provided vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, including answering phone calls and tracking correspondence with constituents; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public service, he has learned more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and WHEREAS, Mr. Coleman is a senior at the University of Houston, where he is pursuing a degree in corporate communications with a minor in English; he has previously held internships in the public relations and public affairs sectors and served as a youth football coach for two seasons; and WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas Legislature hereby commend Patrick Coleman for his service as a legislative intern in the office of State Representative Dan Huberty and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in all his endeavors; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Mr. Coleman as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
