| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, On March 22, 2017, volunteers from North Collin |

| 6 | 7 | | County Habitat for Humanity and Lowe's Home Improvement in Prosper |

| 7 | 8 | | completed repairs on a local home damaged by a fire; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, The teams from Habitat for Humanity and Lowe's |

| 9 | 10 | | worked together over the course of two weeks to rebuild the house in |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | Prosper after it was nearly destroyed by a devastating blaze; |

| 11 | 12 | | construction on the project included framing and replacing windows |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | and doors, re-siding, and painting, as well as building a |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | wheelchair ramp for the homeowner; and |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, By giving generously of their energy and talents to |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | help a fellow resident in a time of need, these outstanding men and |

| 16 | 17 | | women have set an inspiring example of community service, and it is |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | indeed fitting that their admirable efforts be recognized; now, |

| 19 | 20 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
