| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The Boys and Girls Clubs of Collin County held a |

| 7 | 8 | | completion of its new ball hockey court, which was donated by Dallas |

| 8 | 9 | | Stars forward Tyler Seguin; and |

| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, The mission of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Collin |

| 10 | 11 | | County is to enable young people to reach their full potential, and |

| 11 | 12 | | to this end, the organization is currently serving more than 8,000 |

| 12 | 13 | | children through its after-school, summer, and outreach programs; |

| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Tyler Seguin partnered with the Dallas Stars |

| 15 | 16 | | Foundation and the Pro Players Foundation to provide the new |

| 16 | 17 | | multipurpose outdoor court; in addition to making a generous |

| 17 | 18 | | contribution, Mr. Seguin assisted in the construction of the court, |

| 18 | 19 | | which features state-of-the-art flooring material; a staunch |

| 19 | 20 | | supporter of the Boys and Girls Clubs, this Stanley Cup champion has |

| 20 | 21 | | also donated a suite in the Dr Pepper Arena for the use of the |

| 21 | 22 | | organization for the past two years, and whenever club members |

| 22 | 23 | | attend a Stars game at the facility, he meets with them after the |

| 24 | 25 | | WHEREAS, The Boys and Girls Clubs of Collin County have made a |

| 25 | 26 | | meaningful difference in the lives of countless young Texans, and |

| 26 | 27 | | through his inspiring example of philanthropy, Tyler Seguin has |

| 27 | 28 | | contributed significantly to the clubs' important work; now, |

| 29 | 30 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
