| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Svaksha Iyengar, a senior at Prosper High School, |

| 7 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Established in 1955, the National Merit Scholarship |

| 8 | 9 | | Program honors less than one percent of all high school seniors each |

| 9 | 10 | | year, based on their scores on the Preliminary Scholastic |

| 10 | 11 | | Assessment Test; the designation represents an opportunity for |

| 11 | 12 | | young men and women to compete for scholarship awards and win entry |

| 12 | 13 | | into some of the country's best schools; and |

| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, One of only three students at Prosper High School to |

| 14 | 15 | | be chosen as a National Merit Scholar finalist this year, Svaksha |

| 15 | 16 | | Iyengar has demonstrated exceptional scholastic aptitude, |

| 16 | 17 | | initiative, and leadership, all of which will undoubtedly benefit |

| 18 | 19 | | WHEREAS, This scholastic achievement places Ms. Iyengar at |
