| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Jason Rodriguez has been presented with a Key Spouse |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, The TRIO Islanders Organization is part of the |

| 10 | 11 | | initiative, which furthers the goals of TAMU--CC by providing |

| 11 | 12 | | resources to low-income, first-generation, and underrepresented |

| 12 | 13 | | students; in receiving a Key Spouse Award, Mr. Rodriguez was |

| 13 | 14 | | recognized for going above and beyond in showing support for his |

| 14 | 15 | | wife, June Rodriguez, who currently serves as president-elect of |

| 15 | 16 | | the organization; and |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Rodriguez enjoys a fulfilling career as an |

| 17 | 18 | | aircraft mechanic at the Corpus Christi Army Depot; in addition, he |

| 18 | 19 | | has volunteered his time in behalf of numerous community service |

| 19 | 20 | | projects coordinated by TRIO Islanders; and |

| 20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Jason Rodriguez has encouraged and tirelessly |

| 21 | 22 | | supported his wife in all her endeavors and in so doing graciously |

| 22 | 23 | | contributed to the worthwhile mission of the TRIO Islanders |

| 23 | 24 | | Organization, and he is indeed deserving of this prestigious honor; |
