| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Aimee Lynn Loredo has been presented with an |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, The Teacher Prep Program is part of the university's |

| 9 | 10 | | Programs for Academic Student Support (PASS) initiative, which |

| 10 | 11 | | furthers the goals of TAMU--CC by providing resources to |

| 11 | 12 | | low-income, first-generation, and underrepresented students; in |

| 12 | 13 | | receiving an Outstanding Award, Ms. Loredo was recognized for |

| 13 | 14 | | excelling academically; and |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, A native of Miami, Florida, Ms. Loredo is a senior |

| 15 | 16 | | studying mathematics education for grades four through eight, and, |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | as the first Teacher Prep Program participant to engage in |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | mentoring, she is also guiding a sophomore in the same field of |

| 18 | 19 | | study; she has been inducted into the TAMU--CC chapter of the |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | National Society for Leadership and Success; after beginning her |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | teaching career, she hopes to pursue a master's degree in |

| 21 | 22 | | curriculum design; and |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | WHEREAS, Aimee Loredo is indeed deserving of this prestigious |

| 23 | 24 | | honor, and she may look forward to a future bright with promise; |
