 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Rudolph White Jr., senior pastor of Christian Bible
 Church in Missouri City, has been named the 2017 president of the
 Fort Bend County Pastors Association; and
 WHEREAS, Pastor White holds a bachelor's degree from the
 College of Biblical Studies in Houston and a master's degree from
 Faith International University & Seminary, and he has continued his
 studies at Luther Rice College & Seminary and Southwestern Baptist
 Theological Seminary; in 1986, he established Christian Bible
 Church, and he has continued to faithfully guide that congregation
 for nearly 30 years, helping to bridge the gap between modern and
 biblical culture through his unique preaching style; and
 WHEREAS, Deeply devoted to his community, this esteemed
 clergyman also gives generously of his time and talents to Fort Bend
 Interfaith, supporting initiatives that are designed to improve
 local schools; and
 WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Pastor White is blessed with
 the love and encouragement of his wife, Valarie; and
 WHEREAS, Throughout his notable career, Pastor White has
 demonstrated a steadfast commitment to the service of others and a
 gift for visionary leadership, and the Fort Bend County Pastors
 Association is indeed fortunate to have him at its helm; now,
 therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
 Legislature hereby congratulate Rudolph White Jr. on his selection
 as president of the Fort Bend County Pastors Association and extend
 to him sincere best wishes for continued success and fulfillment in
 his new post; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Pastor White as an expression of high regard by the
 Texas House of Representatives.
