| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Shannon Wissel has ably served her fellow Texans as |

| 6 | 7 | | an assistant in the office of State Representative Yvonne Davis |

| 7 | 8 | | during the 85th Legislative Session; and |
|---|
| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Wissel has provided |

| 9 | 10 | | vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; |

| 10 | 11 | | in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Wissel studied ocean engineering at Texas A&M |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | University at Galveston, and she has continued her education at |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | Austin Community College, where she is currently an engineering |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | student; and |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, This noteworthy Texan has performed her duties as an |

| 18 | 19 | | office assistant with skill and dedication, and she is indeed |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, |

| 21 | 22 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
