R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Shannon Wissel has ably served her fellow Texans as
an assistant in the office of State Representative Yvonne Davis
during the 85th Legislative Session; and
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Wissel has provided
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks;
in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public
service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Wissel studied ocean engineering at Texas A&M
University at Galveston, and she has continued her education at
Austin Community College, where she is currently an engineering
student; and
WHEREAS, This noteworthy Texan has performed her duties as an
office assistant with skill and dedication, and she is indeed
deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Shannon Wissel for her service as an
assistant in the office of State Representative Yvonne Davis and
extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her
endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Wissel as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
