| 13 | 14 | | Belton ISD; she is currently the fifth-grade team leader at |

| 19 | 20 | | Christian University; in addition to teaching many elementary grade |

| 20 | 21 | | levels, she has earned specialized certifications in elementary |

| 21 | 22 | | art, ESL, and gifted and talented education; she has also served as |

| 22 | 23 | | a caring and dedicated mentor to younger colleagues; and |

| 23 | 24 | | WHEREAS, With the professionalism and enthusiasm that are the |

| 24 | 25 | | hallmarks of a great teacher, LaGay Pittenger has devoted her |

| 25 | 26 | | career to instilling in children a love of learning that will serve |

| 26 | 27 | | them well throughout their lives; now, therefore, be it |

| 27 | 28 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
